Google Play Arena is bringing a new multi-title esports competition to India, featuring an advertised ₹4.12 crore prize pool, six prominent esports organizations, and six games. The championship will feature S8UL, GodLike Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Revenant XSpark, Team Apex Gaming, and MS Dhoni's Mahi Clutchers, creating opportunities for aspiring players to compete on a larger stage.

India’s competitive gaming landscape is set for another major event as Google Play Arena introduces a multi-game esports championship, with a combined prize pool of ₹4.12 crore highlighted in promotional announcements.
Organized through a collaboration between Google Play and NODWIN Gaming, the initiative brings together established esports organizations and aspiring competitors under one competitive platform.
The championship features six prominent clubs: S8UL Esports, GodLike Esports, Orangutan Gaming, Revenant XSpark, Team Apex Gaming, and Mahi Clutchers. Each organization brings its own competitive identity and fan following, creating an opportunity for communities from different gaming backgrounds to participate in the same event.
A notable addition to the lineup is Mahi Clutchers, associated with former Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni. His involvement adds a crossover between Indian cricket and competitive gaming, potentially introducing esports to audiences beyond its existing community.
Google Play Arena will feature six gaming titles, covering multiple genres. Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire MAX represent battle royale competition, while Moba Legends: 5v5! adds team-based strategy gameplay. Real Cricket and EA SPORTS FC Mobile bring cricket and football into the tournament, alongside competitive chess through Chess.com.
Beyond the participation of established clubs, the event places significant emphasis on discovering new talent. Eligible players aged 18 and above can enter the qualification process without paying a registration fee, giving newcomers an opportunity to earn recognition alongside experienced competitors.
The championship is scheduled to conclude with a Grand Finale on December 19–20, 2026. NODWIN Gaming will be responsible for tournament execution and competitive operations.
By combining multiple esports titles, recognizable organizations, and an accessible qualification pathway, Google Play Arena aims to create a wider competitive platform for India’s gaming community.
As excitement builds around the event, the focus will shift toward the qualifying stages and the players who eventually earn the opportunity to represent their respective clubs at the Grand Finale.
